  1. I would say actually in this war both sides have managed to gain about the same amount of military equipment if we can keep shipments up. The difference is that the Russian equipment is outdated armour and tanks and fighters, while Ukrainians have new drones, anti-tank weapons and more varied rocket defence systems.

  2. Well, they sure do know how to exaggerate in this one. “Completely destroyed”, not so much. Don’t think you can really call a car that is peppered by shrapnel completely destroyed mate. It is a relief they were all able to make it out of there though. From the way the chat was talking and using the word petrol instead of gas, I was honestly a little curious as to whether he was American, or whether he had trained long enough in Europe to know not call it by the ugly American name ‘gas’. Haha crazy that they all had to pile into that ‘one single car’ to escape. Wearing body armour and helmets to boot, it must’ve felt absolutely crushing inside. Really is potent though, that they get to leave, but the soldiers can’t. That must’ve felt quite wrenching by the end of it for them.
