I want to see this really does make no sense. I very much doubt Ukraine would ever do a false flag operation, and they’ve been extremely careful with firing their missiles to attack Russian targets or intercept incoming missiles from the Russians thus far, so for one of them is was to ever malfunction and head into Poland feels quite unlikely if not insane. I honestly feel like this might more likely be either huge bit of bad intelligence on the US side, or someone is trying to blame Ukraine to try and cower out of having to respond to Russia’s aggression here and has some sort of insight plan. In other words, it’s all a lie in order to pin it on someone else and not having to respond at all against Russia, when logically at the very minimum Article 4 needs to be activated.

I really don’t think it is true. Almost certainly was fired from inside Ukraine though. Of course, isn’t that literally the case for every single missile so far? What were they suggesting from the beginning or having to rule out any way that it was fired from Russia? None of us were even thinking it was fired from Russia in the first place. We all knew the vast likelihood was that it was far from inside Ukraine. It was simply a case of which side had fired it. Still definitely believe it was Russia.

@kingsharkoon I definitely agree, but not with the statement that Ukraine isn’t truthful. They simply have to withhold the truth sometimes, for the sake of military intelligence. That only makes sense, but they haven’t been lying to their allies.

@Real Aiglon If it was a Ukrainian controlled missile, then it was almost certainly an accident. Reparations really would only be the real consequence.

Утюжить Украину — ломать влияние США! Yeah it feels like that. Could just be trying to blame Ukraine out of the little evidence available just so they don’t have to respond to Russia, again. I bet Russia could literally fire at Poland directly and we still wouldn’t respond because we are that much of a coward.
