Bloody hell, that has to be one of the closest firing distances between two armoured vehicles I’ve ever seen. Really testing the resistance between these two vehicles here. I’m a little surprised though that the Ukrainian vehicle (if the occupants were indeed Ukrainian) didn’t decide to turn round after that and ram the vehicle from behind, as it seems like they’ve got the turning circle for it. Unless they figured they didn’t have any weapons capable of safely taking it out from such close range (which to me seems doubtful) and decided to just get out of there and sending regular troops to deal with it. Great footage here. We are definitely getting a lot more of these from peoples flat windows. Seems like people are probably following the rules about staying indoors after all.

If it was a hijacked Strela-10 it could very well be the same vehicle perhaps that crushed that car in Kyiv yesterday.Who knows though. Hope that we will find out eventually as it does feel rather obscure here. You would think that both sides would be more clearly indicating who’s this who’s, although I guess in war you don’t want to be too loudly advertising which side you are on or get shot at. There’s no winning here.

If a D30 was what was firing on them, then I can definitely imagine that the impact area would be very bad indeed. That’s one mega gun right there.Good luck guys. At least hope that journalist survived. They don’t deserve to die.

This fight her was absolutely incredible. I really hope that they were all able to make it out of there alive, whether the mission was successful or not. Glory to Ukrain

Goddamnit I wasn’t aware that they actually stored the ammo in the turret section. I would’ve thought it was indeed in the middle area but wouldn’t actually be directly attached. I guess it makes sense though so it can load them more quickly as the turret rotates. With the way they have been exploding off it definitely makes sense. I cannot imagine what it is like to be a Russian tank crew member right now. If you don’t die instantly then you are guaranteed to cook alive. Sure the turret could be hit first and killing the person in that section first in the process, but I guess as you are also closest to the nearest accessible hatch, if you are lucky (and are not hit in that area directly) you might actually be the only one to survive. I want the Russians to lose, but no one should have to die like this.

They need a lot more of them now then. The US has a massive surplus so they should really try and ship them over as well.

I’ve now signed onto the special forces soldiers Instagram account and you can get this footage in slightly higher quality which makes sense considering it’s the source. I’d recommend people do the same if they want to try and get more footage as it happens. Good luck to you man and hope you make it through this. Slava Ukraine🇺🇦❤️🇬🇧

Wow they really went RPG crazy on those guys. Good defence here. Full support Ukraine. Looks like the defence is working. Please stay safe and prepare in every way as best you can for the next Russian push. We all believe in you.🇺🇦

Same here. I was really really terrified for a second I thought it might have been what we were aaall fearing it might’ve been. Unfortunately, this clip is very short and could very well be what we are fearing. We’ve really Gotta hope we get updates quick on this one. Thankfully, and unfortunately, this explosion was clearly very huge and is bound to catch the eye of a lot of people and there will be sure to be a lot of other images dropping soon enough.
22
Yeah, you really can never be 100% sure how you'd truly feel in a battle like this with really shots firing at you, until it actually happens. Same goes I'm betting for all the volunteers right now who have less if not any experience. Of course, for even a lot of the veteran soldiers now, this war is quite different in combat setting to what we've been used to for the past 20 years. Time to go back to the old tactics again but updated for the 21st century. Stay strong chaps.
20
Definitely. The Humvee is a lot more in its element right now. British troop transport vehicles would also be really useful right now. We designed us in the British Army more specifically in recent years to be able to take direct shots from IEDs underneath the vehicle chassis is due to them being mounted with a deflective metal plate body, but with the amount of armour we use and mounted gun turrets on top, they would most certainly be useful in Ukraine right now as well. Think we can definitely spare a few now.

Yeah based on the footage of the firing by the BTRs it stands to reason that there were infantry moving about apart from the Russians who had dismounted which would explain why they weren’t directly firing on it. Although apparently according to comments on another channel who have the same video, the tank also has a narrow field of fire here where it can visibly see the road, so it also stands to reason that the Russians had the same problem and couldn’t directly fire on it either. You can see as they are pummelling the entire surrounding area but keep missing the tank. Thankfully unlike the Russians, the Ukrainians aren’t just sending their tanks out without external ground support.
9
Bloody hell it really is amazing that thing can even fly. Must be a much slower moving aircraft by comparison but definitely useful for providing support to ground troops if it isn’t just simply blasting over a small area in an instant. Betting it was still badly damaged though considering it looks like the explosion went right to the engine.

Good luck guys. Be prepared to fight but still be safe. Hope the extra supplies get the the Ukrainian forces ASAP.
8
If it really was one of these and they are definitely going to have to send in some of the best trips to try and take it out fast, otherwise they are in deep shit. Stay strong Ukraine for fuck‘s sake pleeease. From Britain
7
Seriously, this is some Fury stuff right here. Bloody brave guys the lot of them.
6
It is absolutely unreal. Just imagine what it would be like if we had the same thing in WWI and WWII.
6
At least we can hope so. Let us also hope they are able to get back home after this, without any missing parts.
6
This really was an incredibly close brush with death her. He truly is luck to be alive. The fighting must continue though. Stay strong 'and smart' man, and everyone lese fighting on the front line. Slava Ukraine
6
Zelensky is a president of the next level here. We should all be so lucky to have leaders like these. They’ll need it.
5
Bloody hell that was a close one. Could very easily have knocked over the towel there. It looks like it relies on cabling to help it cope with its height so if those were knocked out it could very well cause a domino effect. Good luck to all the emergency workers and engineers there. I hope they’re able to restore any of the equipment if it is damaged. Stay strong Ukraine.❤️🇬🇧

Great news from Finland. A good finger up to Putin there as well.
4
Yeah it definitely helps that when you are in the foreign Legion you are put with a lot of other people of your own language, but if some don’t speak the same language then definitely helps to have certain hand signals, learn certain words or just simply how you might tap or kick the person behind or in front of you to give signals on what to do next. This used to be very common in tanks in fact in the old days, when you wouldn’t necessarily be able to hear the other person from the engine noise.
4
@SillyPersonHere Yeah I definitely believe they’ve been using drones to help with the mortar fires. They aren’t as random as people think anymore without the Ukrainians have been training to use them.
4
I thought the exact same way. Devastating where they are heading but absolutely beautiful engineering how they can tilt using mini thrusters like that before shooting straight towards a target rather than having to follow a fast long arc through the air.
3
This really was an incredible moment here. Hope the tank crew were able to make it out of there in the end. Guessing if they did indeed have infantry back out then most likely they were. Not sure who was doing really the shelling at the end as it really could’ve been either the Ukrainians or the Russians but fingers crossed the crane is Raible to get out of there in time before it started. I think we can count this attack here really as being a Ukrainian victory.
3
@rejuvenatingsoul3498 that is total capitulation and with that attitude we never would’ve won World War II. Remember this quote. “You cannot reason with the tiger, when your head is in its mouth.”

I honestly didn’t know that smart phones use infrared lasers in order to detect the distance of objects to focus on them. I simply thought they were capable of perceiving the distance of something based on depth of focus on its own. That is quite incredible. I don’t know that the fact that it is still powerful enough to be picked up by a tank. Probably best then I guess to use a manual focus system instead if you are taking pictures or video rather than an automated IR one.
2
That’s a relief. Seeing as it looks like the structure is intact I’d imagine they would be working pretty quickly to restore it.👌🏼👍🏼
2
Yeah I figured the same thing. You can tell because it also only has 4 engines instead of 6. Still in the same family though and still bloody awesome in size.
2
@rebeltvr6046 Or the rest of the world chips in afterwards to have it finished faster. Now that'd be cool.
2
Thank you for sharing it. Wasn’t aware that the Ukrainian forces even were given Humvees until now so it’s good to see.
2
@illicity2383 Sooo true. Sometimes it just amazes me the willingness of humans to just go along with the status quo rather than willing to take the risk of their own lives in order to do what is right. It would be so easy for someone in Russia to kill him with the amount of weapons and people they have. Putin must really be surrounded by so many guards right now. I haven’t seen a single piece of footage of him out in the open for quite some time.
2
I agree. That missile launch is really beautiful how it corrects its angle before shooting off at a faster velocity toward its target. A shame though it is heading towards the good guys.
2
Nooot a bad idea. His buddies in the tank will prepare to fire, while he’s asking them if they’ve heard of this game called Angry Birds.
2
Will do
2
Totally understand man
2
Ok, lmfao. Best team ever.
2
@nabootheenigma That’s what you get when you are all in it together I guess. However, considering they most likely had to work together for a while now, it seems to work.😆😁💪🏼
2
That is a big disappointment unfortunately. The tank there was at least probably put out of commission for a few days but still could’ve been better. Hope this will be a good learning point for any other soldiers are volunteers intending to use the same system on the minimum range usage. Stay strong chaps.
2
It wasn't fabricated though. The Ukrainians had every reason to believe they were in fact dead. Thankfully that wasn't the case and the government will inform the public soon enough.
2
I am soooo sorry to hear that. We desperately need to protect Mariupol right now. it cannot be allowed to fall.
2
@nagasako7 Yep, it’s all about the fuel. I’ve seen two videos alone today where the soldiers have said that they had to stop and we’re on their own because they ran out of fuel or just abandoned their vehicles altogether.
1
IKR. This is absolutely insane. Wishing them total victory.
1
@jjmckay6man1 Video deleted. What was it?
1
That is true. Unfortunately with the huge variety of Russian movements right now, many people have no choice but to take the risk in order to make sure people are actually aware of where it is all happening so others can take action.
1
Good to know they will be able to fix it. It’s great to have near bulletproof glass but useless long-term if they can’t replace it. These vehicles should definitely continue to serve them well. Stay strong chaps.
1
Thank you for your words here. I think many current service personnel across in America feel the same way. I’ve heard some are travelling in groups now to Poland to try and cross the border that way. Definitely best you can do is stay in love your family though. In our own ways we should all try and do the best we can to support the Ukrainians via social media or medical, food to weapons.
1
@theotheleo6830 You can still walk into the country. Both trains and cars are still allowed. Especially when it comes to actually getting into the country if you are wanting to volunteer. You can take a flight to any of the neighbouring countries and cross the border that way. I’ve heard that some are going via Poland as it is the most direct.
1
I was not even aware that Ukraine actually had Humvees. I haven’t seen any until now. It’s really good to know that they have been arriving there. Clearly the armour is good enough to hold back the Russians small arms fire for now. Looks like the glass definitely took a lot of direct shots though. I wonder if they’ll actually be able to get the glass replaced. No doubt they would have been supplied some replacements otherwise it’s pointless. I wonder why they aren’t using the same gun as the US uses, or maybe perhaps it wasn’t included and the Ukrainians just have more supplies of the different weapons to be mounted on top. Hope it is just as effective though. Stay strong chaps and happy hunting. Slava Ukraine. 🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️🇺🇦🇺🇦
