It’s absolute ridiculous how much California is actually charging these companies. I mean, I understand taxation on big companies needs to increase obviously, and every state should be doing this at the same time, but this level is far too much and uneven. California has clearly gotten too cocky to the idea that they are somehow the greatest of the states for the big tech companies and it will be harder for them to leave as they are going to get more people wanting to go there than Texas. And really logically speaking that is true, but the taxation now is just too much. Obviously Texas is wanting to take massive advantage of this as they’ve got very little else to make people want to go to such a heavily right leaning hot state like that. Although inevitably as taxation increases all over the US (as it should), I’d imagine a lot of companies will be starting to even out if not just heading back to California again as there will be less president to remain in Texas and head out to the more open and/or coastline located cities with more greenery.
