@DistroTube I never expected Ubuntu to run so well on this laptop but here I am, typing this comment in Ubuntu 18.10 (with GNOME). I had a netbook with a very old version of Ubuntu (I think it was either 9.04 or 9.10) a few years ago, until my mum bought me another laptop and gave that one away. I saved some cash this year and bought myself a new laptop (a COMPAQ Presario) and put Ubuntu on it (it had Windows 10, but I ditched Windows long ago).
