  3.  @DistroTube  I never expected Ubuntu to run so well on this laptop but here I am, typing this comment in Ubuntu 18.10 (with GNOME). I had a netbook with a very old version of Ubuntu (I think it was either 9.04 or 9.10) a few years ago, until my mum bought me another laptop and gave that one away. I saved some cash this year and bought myself a new laptop (a COMPAQ Presario) and put Ubuntu on it (it had Windows 10, but I ditched Windows long ago).

  23. I bought a new laptop (it's a Compaq) and installed Ubuntu 18.10 on it. Runs pretty fluidly, if I might say. I'm waiting for 19.04 now.

  24. I was a bit worried about the memory bugs in 18.04 (even though I have 4 gb) and the laptop battery improvements were a key feature for me. I know some people always say to wait on 20.04 but I don't have any patience to stick with Windows 10 till 20.04.
