She sang it to them with a kerosene lamp close to her face. Then when the song was over she'd blow out the lamp...complete darkness in the room.....kids screaming bloody murder. Ha ha ha.🥴🥴😳😳

There was another video I watched sometime back about a snake handling church in Kentucky. The Pastor said his Uncle and his Father died from snake bites. They were Pastors. This man said he swallowed strychnine too and he seized up got stiff and almost died. Then he said he lost three fingers due to swelling from snake bites. The man who interviewed him asked, "Do you think God might be telling you to stop doing this?" The Pastor said, "Maybe, maybe." The Pastor said that they only take folks to the hospital after a bite if they lose consciousness. Ohhhh, my goodness gracious. 😳😳🥴😳🥴😳🥴😳🥴😳🥴😳

Just found your channel. Great stuff. I make "medicine" from a specific flower and soak it in 190 proof grain achohol. The distillate absorbs the medicine from the herb. @donnielaws7020 I plumb forgot to tell you, my Mommas family was from Eastern Kentucky, Hiram and Esther Bradshaw were her Ma and Pa. They always had a cash crop of tobacco. My Ma has vivid memories of hanging tobacco to dry. Her Pa shot his hand off trying to hide...um...his beverage jugs. The story goes that he was moving some jugs to a cooler place and he leaned his gun up against something. It started to fall over, he grabbed it at the top and the gun went off. I do love a good story. 🤣🤣😂😂

Mr. Laws, I'm sitting here in my rocking chair, having my first cup of coffee and I watched this video. I was doing just fine.....until you started telling about the old witch. When I saw that picture with her googlie eyes, I spit my coffee out and laughed until I cried. My beloved husband asked me, "What's so darned funny at 5:35 am?" I played the video and he watched it too. Same thing happened to him. Ha ha...he has a vivid memory of raw head and bloody bones. My husband is 18 years older than me and was raised in Steele, Missouri. His Ma and Pa were sharecroppers, cotton pickers. My husband is 80. He remembers his Memaw telling him ghost stories. He always said he wanted to go under the bed to sleep on those nights. He couldn't though, his Ma kept her canning jars full of fruit under the beds. He shared a bed too, with 1 brother and 2 sisters. We really enjoyed this video. My husband had 2 strokes, cancer and developed diabetes last year. He's getting better but laughter is far away sometimes. You gave him laughter this morning. For that, I'm grateful to ya. 🦋
