I used to have a cabin between Bemidji and Cass Lake. That HWY 2 was crazy to drive on when that blizzard weather hit at times. 40-60 below zero windchill. Colder than anywhere in Alaska....plus that blowing snow. I had supplies for a situation in my SUV for a week of getting stuck somewhere. 2 big bins worth. Almost didn't have room for groceries....lol. Most times I just picked up a few things at Teals in Cass Lake. If the car started....lol... love you 2 and Mr Skeeter....❤😊🙏

@oceanbrzzz , I loved the meat department. You can go there ask the butcher to cut a couple steaks just the way you want them, or get 5 minute fresh ground beef. They used to sell the best Sour dough bread. Often still warm.....the fried chicken was yummy too. I really miss that place. 😊

@TheMightsparrow All portable generators need to be outside. They make carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide is a LETHAL, DEADLY COLORLESS ORDORLESS GAS. Folks have made that mistake and went to sleep in their beds, never to wake up. Carbon monoxide is a heavy gas, it stays close to the floor, just about the height of a bed.
