  1. Stop talking about GDP. Talk about the percentage of the population under their own (state defined) poverty threshold. Talk about median wages (inflation adjusted). Talk about the multiple between average house price and average salaries (is it closer to 3:1 or 10:1?)

  2.  @concinnus  Mate, he "discussed" it for literally 7 seconds; there's no way the average Spaniard is 5% richer than last year, and even if they were, he never says if it's nominal or inflation adjusted figures. Capitalists insist upon the GDP metric used to gauge economic health because they will ensure most of the income gains from GDP growth go to them. It's why they spend millions on lobbying.
