  1. You mean the theory of gravity is of course a theory, not the phenomenon of gravity itself. Saying that gravity is a theory is retarded. We're only surrounded by an abundance of empirical evidence of it. Also, evolution may be a fact, but Darwin's theory of evolution is nonsense.

  2. You can't reject the phenomenon of gravity because we're "surrounded by an abundance of empirical evidence". The theory of gravity (our understanding) is certainly still in question, not the phenomenon itself! Evolution on the other hand takes millions of years and thus doesn't have the same in your face reality as gravity, therefore rejecting the phenomenon is far easier. What doesn't help is that the Darwinian theory of evolution falls far from the standard needed to be thought of as proof.
