  2. @EeJLP point taken on taking cover vs a shotgun, but they shot to kill, 7 times! why not shoot her once then take the shotgun off of her? At least she'd have a chance of survival.

  3. @EeJLP It's easy to say but I'd have taken cover just in case she used the shotgun, and appealed to her from behind that cover. If you end up killing it'd be as a result of her firing first, and then it's legitimate self defence. As it is, it's most certainly a mistake from the police officer
