Nazism was born of anti-communist Freikorps who defeated the communist party post WWI, giving birth to the Weimar republic. Just because the NSDAP has the word "socialist" in its name, doesn't make it so; rather like China not being a people's republic, despite its name.

@GermansMustDie The NSDAP were fascist, not socialist. These two things are on opposite ends of the scale; consult a dictionary if you must (not being condescending). Socialism is the democratisation of business and thus the furthest thing from fascism. In fact, the hierarchical, top-down approach of capitalist business is precisely fascist. Corporations aren't intrinsically evil, just where unethical men leverage the power of thousands of wage-slaves to meet their own ends, which happens a lot.
