@mayhemnecrobutcher Profit is money for nothing. Profit is the money left AFTER everybody gets paid, and AFTER all material and other expenditures are met. Profit arises from either the overcharging of customers, the underpaying of staff, or usually a combination of the two

@perrin6 Then profit should be set aside for a rainy day, or where it is used in employee remuneration, there should be a profit sharing scheme, rather than have chief executives pay themselves millions and to hell with everyone else

@unkaodya "in this case, nobody stole from you" Price collusion is theft, and it's pretty widespread. Countless cases in the past, and 100 times as many not tried in court. Planned obsolescence is theft, and is massively prevalent. Profit is largely theft, though it's case sensitive
