and it made absolutely no difference

"Aspartame is made by combining phenylalanine with an amino acid. To make the bacteria produce more phenylalanine, Monsanto has genetically engineered them "Whether such a contaminating compound will be toxic or not is entirely unknowable until empirical studies have been done to test toxicity," said Dr. John Fagan, a former genetic engineer who now heads Genetic ID, the world's leading GM test centre. "No such studies have been done, or at least they have not been placed in the public domain.""

Couldn't have said it better. Have a thumbs up

Your output is weak for a supposed non lesser type

everybody seems to have marked you for spam, and they're right. "You are not entitled to things from other people against their will." Who is or would be having something done against their will? "> "whats best for the most amount of people", is best. i.e. i feel it's okay to threaten to attack peaceful people in order to control them" Where was the threat?

Donald Rumsfeld DID conspire to have aspartame approved whilst chairman of the of the company who developed and patented it (Searle, who were later acquired by Monsanto). It's perfectly true that it's safe (but only under a certain threshold) for most people, (unless they suffer from IBS), but Rumsfeld's conflict of interest is clear unless you happen to be a simpleton, in which case, FDA approval had nothing at all to do with money making via the diet food industry, my little jester

vegetable oil, which is less good for you than butter, although butter gets a bad rap unnecessarily. Everything in moderation

people like you (if you'll pardon me for saying so) assume that this fairy tale meritocratic market exists. It's not strictly speaking a meritocracy at all. What really exists is a market dominated by capitalist businesses who screw us all societally and ecologically in order to increase their profit margins, then you come on here and blame the victims of an economic "model" created by the lascivious and sociopathic robber barons just prior to the industrial revolution
1
"No they are quite anti-science when it comes to GMOs" And you have nothing to back that up other than some vague assertions (aka bullshit). Provide me proof of your fuckwit claim and I'll take it back. In the meantime, I'm quite certain you're scientifically illiterate.
1
You keep saying that, even though the inverse is true (and clear from my comments). It seems you've learned from the best: "the most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly and with unflagging attention. It must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over." ― Adolf Hitler
1
you inverted what I said: "TYT are pro science, but anti-harm. You dipshits should to learn to appreciate the fucking difference. Ironically you are anti science since the FDA orginally banned aspartame before Donald Rumsfeld personally had it unbanned whilst he was chairman of Searle, the company who developed it." Why must you be so stupid?
1
So you ignore the dubious way it was approved and then say: "The science is doubleplus good" And you haven't looked at any of it. Nice of you to keep your comments short and within the scope of your intellect
1
A person who wants their food labelled is a creationist? That's a fairly stupid leap of logic. You're a fucking conspiratard.
1
but Detroit's unemployment rate is about 50%. That's a decimated client base
1
You're talking a lot of shit. If in and out burger can pay their restaurant workers above minimum wage and still turn a profit, that means the workers are actually worth what they're paid. If you spend more on payroll than you're getting, you will go bankrupt and as far as I can tell they're a healthy business. This is all very obvious
1
HFCS is made using GM corn, and aspartame is made using GM bacteria
1
You're senile. Which bit of science is "doubleplus good"? Which study were you referring to when you gormlessly wrote that?
1
You say they're expensive, but I say you have a thoroughly unrealistic expectation of food pricing; their food is better than mcd and their staff likely won't lick your bread buns because they aren't being treated like shit whilst being underpaid. It really bothers you that people are paid what they're worth and they aren't being downtrodden, apparently
1
"anyone" in the sense that all you have to do is play internal politics well, and look like a good manager, whether you actually are or not. There is no academic barrier to entry. You don't even need a degree to be a ceo
1
You're hilarious. You're a guy who is anti (FDA) science who literally took a leaf out of Hitler's book Mein Kampf by repeating yourself over and over. Would you like to keep digging or isn't 6 feet enough of a grave?
1
For the last time, Rumsfeld DID conspire and that's a matter of record; you buffoon. "I haven't looked at any studies, but I'm pro science, I just don't know what science i'm in favour of. I'm totally ignorant of any adverse food reactions, and Donald Rumsfeld can do no wrong" -- ParSekut, NOT a weak caricaturist
1
You should be looking for published peer reviewed studies that show the safety of either aspartame or HFCS derived from gmo derived sources.

Many Americans also say that nationalised single payer healthcare systems where 100% of the population is covered and is free-at-the-point-of-service is impossible; except a dozen European states have been doing just that for over half a century now. A lot of Americans are spiteful to their own countrymen and it's evident here where you have people denigrating fast food workers and insisting on their (low) worth.
1
A lot of controversy around certain GMO foods like HFCS and apastarme, which are rather more harmful than sugarbeet or sugarcane, even where the latter two are refined/processed. TYT are pro science, but anti-harm. You dipshits should to learn to appreciate the fucking difference. Ironically you are anti science since the FDA orginally banned aspartame before Donald Rumsfeld personally had it unbanned whilst he was chairman of Searle, the company who developed it. Get a clue
