@jaredbowhay-pringle1460 Owning race horses doesn't preclude passion for football, it doesn't even mean that racing was prioritized over football; moreover, man utd had their most successful period under said race horse owners, who expanded international distribution and merchandising massively (especially across Asia). They invested and improved club facilities (including Old Trafford) in their journey from good to elite, all of which mostly undermines anything you're likely to retort with. I love Fergie, but without sound upper management, very little can happen.

@jaredbowhay-pringle1460 man utd was owned by men interested in football. the glazer family use man utd's revenue to pay off the debt THEY INCURRED buying the club. man utd essentially paid for the glazers to own it
