@Lynn-i2w My guess is that Erdogan is obsessed by the need to suppress the YPG/PKK terrorists because they've been a thorn in Turkey's side for decades. Looks to me, he made a gambit to fund Al-Nusra (Syrian branch of Al Qaeda created by USA/Israel) and smash YPG. This is casino gambling on Erdogan's part.
