You're moving activity that was classified as domestic work (but is/was, nevertheless, work) to commercial activity. There's no free lunch here, so now when the couple work (instead of it being a single income household), they get the same material wealth, but pay twice the labor. It's theft; again, when you double the workforce (by introducing women into paid outside work), you halve the average wage. You either get it or you don't
