The war is already won by Russia. All this talk about strategy is therefore completely redundant.

Thanks for removing my comment about Ukraine having lost the war already. 500,000 casualties (dead or rendered unfit for redeployment); nearly 6 million refugees fleeing Ukraine recorded across Europe, while an estimated 8 million others displaced within the country by late May 2022. Sure sounds like winning

The war is lost buddy. this is all a Ukrainian death spiral for a few more months before they bend over at the negotiation table, with half their country a casualty or emigrated

@ProcaviaCapensis-ts8ub What economic crisis? Russian inflation has fallen from 11% in January 2023 to 7.4% today. Unemployment fell from 2.8% to 2.2% (same timeframe) Wages rose from 63260 Roubles to 73830 (same timeframe).

please, EU can't win a fight, and America hasn't won one since WWII

@micasa8421 it was so successful you had to return in 2003, and haven't left since.

@damackabet.4611 EU has sent more munitions than the USA. I am not sure how anyone ever thought Ukraine could win.

@ProcaviaCapensis-ts8ub Try looking for an economic metric that proves your point. I did, do likewise

@ProcaviaCapensis-ts8ub "Russia is spending much more than it's earning" Then you don't know anything about national accounting, since you think government budgets are like household budgets.

@FR-PL-UA-WARSZAWA Germany in 1944 was being bombed to crap. Russia hasn't conceded one square inch of territory, but 1/3 of Ukraine is now Russian. Ukraine has spent all the US munitions given to them, and American supplies are diminishing to a dribble. There's no way Ukraine can reclaim their eastern front militarily; it's time for deft diplomacy and kissing the ring. You're all insanely deluded to think Russia isn't on the precipioce of winning, when 5% of Ukrainians have left the country, they're now dragging men from bus stops to forcibly conscript them, along with pregnant women and pensioners. None of my respondants in this thread are sane.

@jaarneal What crack pipe are you smoking to suggest that 2.2% unemployment is "bad"? 7% inflation is quite normal for non G-7 nations, and you'd know that if you weren't so eager to respond

@ProcaviaCapensis-ts8ub "I don't need to be an economics expert to know that if you spend more than you earn you ultimately go bankrupt." -- Nations who are the sole and monopoly issuer of their own currency cannot involuntarily go bankrupt, you silly bunt. They can hyper inflate, but that's a problem of too much money, not too little. You cannot run out of money, when it's digitally created at the push of a button. You don't even have a basic understanding. My last reply. Adios

@micasa8421 OK, you've won one war since WWII, given your objective was drugs and oil. Mission accomplished
