  5. i don't think we've ever had a labour shortage that couldn't be easily fixed with Govt labour support programs (educational bursaries, apprenticeships, Govt subsidised vocational training programs and so on).

  10. This is all a charade. There is no need to rob Peter to pay Paul, since HM Treasury creates money out of thin air. They didn't smack everyone with a COVID tax bill to "pay" for the record fiscal tory deficit (FISCAL SPENDING IS NOT A DEBT, because it is not borrowed into existence). A fiscal "deficit" is literally private sector income.
