"I think the NHS workers are required to pay the extra to support the NHS as well" ---What does this mean? That workers should pay themselves a salary? haha

@davidcolin6519 oh listen, that's despicable. If you think I'm a servile half-wit Tory voter, you're mistaken. Cheers 🥂

what is wrong with you? tell me what e.g. plumbers have to do with NHS workers or teachers?

i don't think we've ever had a labour shortage that couldn't be easily fixed with Govt labour support programs (educational bursaries, apprenticeships, Govt subsidised vocational training programs and so on).

@evolassunglasses4673 OK but public sector pay is derived from whatever the median wage is (with obviously higher pay for roles requiring more formal education). Nothing to do with tradesmen per se

@evolassunglasses4673 "Capitalism will never invest in training or increase pay and conditions" --Public sector = socialism, not capitalism, another reason why Trade pay is not a guide for public sector pay. The tories are quite literally anarchists and kleptocrats

@stephenisom6089 another half-wit demonising public sector workers. How much do rail bosses get? how much money do private firms siphon out of the NHS via the public/private "partnership"? Twit

@lauralishes1 Our NHS was in much better shape in Labour hands. This isn't about a lack of resources, it's a lack political will from the bought and sold Tory party. They work for their capitalist pig-dog donors, not the people who put them in power (voters). Evoking any comparison to the sociopathic US "healthcare system" is crazy

This is all a charade. There is no need to rob Peter to pay Paul, since HM Treasury creates money out of thin air. They didn't smack everyone with a COVID tax bill to "pay" for the record fiscal tory deficit (FISCAL SPENDING IS NOT A DEBT, because it is not borrowed into existence). A fiscal "deficit" is literally private sector income.

@davidcolin6519 I'm a private sector worker so the idea of me paying my employer is ludicrous
