  1. Exchanges charge their customers around 0.3%, fund their whole operation on that, and make a boat load of money. The fact that they're charging 10x more than that, essentially means we are being robbed. It's LESS expensive to run a digital payment system than cash infrastructure (armoured vehicles and security guards) yet we pay more for digital. Govt option offering 0.15% would straighten them out really quickly
