He's cool, but his information is out of date: 1:20:55 -- Turkey has ceased ALL trade until a permanent ceasefire. 1:21:25 -- Gaza Flotilla, Israel paid $20m in compensation, Erdogan wouldn't let that issue go. 1:22:04 --- Abandoned EU accession has NOTHING to do with NATO. Moreover, full EU accession was abandoned 20 years ago, but Turkey are a member of the EU customs union for several years now. This man is still in 2010 Abandon NATO why? Turkey does nothing it doesn't want to do.

@sva9550 Turkey has been in NATO since 1952, (the first round after the founders), and that made no difference to EU accession, so I see no reason why it would be different for Bulgaria, whose accession is even more questionable given they're militarily weak and 25 places below Turkey on the HDI (economic index) In any case, both EU and NATO are in decline and on the way to dissolution; whether that's 15 years or 40 years, they're both increasingly irrelevant, which is the only factor that makes his pining for Turkey to leave NATO logical, but I know that's not what he means. I suspect he still thinks NATO is a special club, and doesn't want a middle eastern country inside it. Turkey leaving NATO would hasten NATO's demise, since forming a triumvirate with Russia and China (their Asian neighbours) suddenly looks advantageous. The west made the grave mistake of de-industrialising in order to suppress labor's power (outsourcing jobs to Asia) and the price is the end of their geopolitical dominance. Beautifully ironic

@Laura-xv4io Putin already explained in the Tucker interview that the Germans refuse to switch Nordstream 2 on. They're a puppet state, and have been since 1948.

@DavidImpatief I like his analysis, I just spotted a few glaring errors; nothing wrong in that. Moreover, I'm still perplexed at how he thinks NATO and EU have anything to do with one another. After all, Turkey is an Asian country just as the USA is north American (both not in Europe). Do the Americans know they should be in the EU if they want to remain in NATO? 🤣

@sva9550 Erdogan burned bridges with so many national leaders, instead of using Realpolitik, but now he does so without caring for ethics, too far into Realpolitik; Turkey acts as an international wholesaler of Azeri oil, and he's selling to Israel. Erdogan miscalculated the rage the Turkish citizenry feel over his inaction toward Gaza, and they showed their anger in the mayoral elections 2 months ago (incredible losses for Erdogan's AK party). Either he listens to this rage or his party will be destroyed as voters abandon it. It must be noted that mean average GDP growth last year for Euro carrying nations was a measly 0.3%. For Balkan nations, joining BRICS would be better, and they certainly wouldn't be turned into meat bags and flung into the Russian war machine, as the west is doing with the poor Ukrainians. The west has turned crazy. AI_PAC and 'Friends of I$rael purchased a lot of western legislators, and it's an open secret.
