  1. Poor showing. Turkish engagement in Libya is about fighting off western backed puppets. The Turks discarded the Ottoman Empire more than a century ago, the people who can't let go of the empire are pasty Anglo faces. Turkey hasn't annexed one square inch of land since the Republic was formed in 1923. Their interventions in Syria, Libya and Somalia are all to do with security concerns and commerce, respectively, not imperialism, ala the USA. EDIT: He can't keep the word "Islamist" out of his mouth, either, considering Islamism and Islam aren't the same fugging thing. Show me the countries that Turkey aims to Islamize; there aren't any. He's still got some 9/11 brainwashing to undo.
