What I've Learned
comments
Comments by "boz" (@BOZ_11) on "What I've Learned" channel.
We've never had issues (in the last 100 years) of recording ownership, whether its land registries, bank ledgers, or company registrars. Moving from a traditional database (Oracle DB, MS SQL, etc) to a blockchain, honestly changes next to nothing. It's like that tea company who stuck the word "blockchain" in their name and saw their stock rise because boomers went "oooh tech, take my money"

@themule137 beef doesn't become less nutritious if you pack it with nitrites. it's plants that are losing their nutritional value, not meat.
11
@WhatIveLearned but they probably weren't eating 275g of carbs a day either (FDA guideline). The more animal protein you eat, the less room for carbs

@X1OProductions Identity theft is to do with masquerading as another person whose address, credit card details, name, zip-code, etc the fraudster gleans; nothing to do with deprecation of some registry, i.e. blockchain won't help there.

Coconut oil + EV olive oil + tallow/butter/ghee. You don't need anything else.

@danielkjm that means NFT's are worthless, if true

and eggs! Scramble the whites, keep the yolk runny, and smear that bish on the steak

I think the supposed discrepancy in the quality of sleep on one's back vs side is nonsense. You would need to control for pre-bedtime activity, blue light exposure, time of last meal, type of last meal (or intake for the whole day), stress exposure, physical exertion for that day, etc etc etc etc etc. I often wake on my back, with no trouble sleeping.

1. He means that it's misdiagnosed for the sake of profit

@PipleZiple dat feminism dough
3
@tchelo98 ye 7 hours is huge. 3 hours is better
2
calorie counting never works
2
@jamesford7049 u should understand that exceptions aren't the rule
2
@Anon.G that is not what i'm saying. portion control is easier than counting calories. using a side dish instead of a dinner plate, for example. the fact that you think i was saying the rules of thermodynamics are being broken is laughable
2
@foxbow90 ah, so simple gene expression, not "evolution". of course
2
@WhatIveLearned but it's not nuance, hashing and encryption are entirely different concepts

You have the best fucking nutrition channel

@charliekp6534 by sleeping on your back without a pillow, you'll snore less since having your head flat (rather than having a pillow under it) opens the airway. Non-snorers don't need to consider this
1
but you sound like everyone else, so maybe he has a point

why are comments hidden?

@Cjorss "old mutation" you don't know if it was a mutation at all. you have to remember that the majority of mutations are deleterious, they don't usually confer ANY benefit
1
@Cjorss "Every piece of our genetic code is a mutation" - No it isn't, a mutation BY DEFINITION is where the cell replication process has ERRORED. This is rarely a beneficial thing, and that's a fact
1
@Cjorss "I don't believe in intelligent design" - But you believe in another kind of magic where a near-ceaseless procession of errors (whose overwhelming propensity is to be largely deleterious) produces more and more elaborate life forms by orders of magnitude.
1
@Cjorss natural selection REDUCES the size of the genome. Mutation REDUCES the size of the genome (on aggregate). Which process (on aggregate) adds information to the genome?
