@zaqwert777 borrowing beyond your ability to pay is in the socialist manifesto is it?? Additionally where did i say that socialism = government workers working for free? "And where does the government get the money to pay all those pensions that socialists demand?" by not spending the money ppl pay into it during their working lives like the usa did with social security

@zaqwert777 greece is proof that socialism failed? greece is proof that borrowing and leveraging beyond your means leads to bankruptcy i.e. nothing at all to do with socialism

@goodatbasebal So u believe in the caricature of socialism in that it tries to offer everything to everyone. Wrong. Scarcity can sometimes be solved not through politics but technology. U.S corn production is as big as it is due to a 7 billion dollar annual tax payer subsidy. This is more socialism than free market.

@goodatbasebal What are you referring to when talking about scarcity? We live in a finite world; this is true irrespective of the economic system in place, therefore scarcity transcends any economic system. It doesn't support your argument that socialism has failed. I could fill the entire comments section with socialised institutions from almost all countries in the world, including the USA. The plight of Greece or Spain has nothing to do with socialism or whatever you think the term means.

@goodatbasebal You think scarcity happens due to taxation? You'll have to explain how and I doubt u could. "Now as to scarcity In the E.U just look at healthcare and petroleum". Health care is "scarce"? I take it you're not in Europe. Petroleum is scarce because oil cannot be manufactured and we're running out of places to drill for it. "Latin American countries who adopt socialism these people suffer from scarcity aswell because there currencies are devalued". Scarcity of what!?
