  1. Just because nations do illicit things doesn't make them non democracies because that's not the standard. Both Turkiye and Israel are democratic, and hold free and fair elections. The reason Israel is genocidal (has always been) is because their society is sick and demented; if you got rid of Netanyahu, do you really think they wouldn't pursue the same foreign policies?? That's a rhetorical question Erdogan was also exercising his executive powers when he stopped all trade between Turkiye and Israel. The oil pipeline is owned by BP, but that's no excuse to leave it alone, to my mind. It's Turkish sovereign land.
