  1. what bond market woe? we dont finance fiscal spending via bond sales. Bond rates havent been this good since 2008; these economists know how to check prices? EDIT: 4:00 Yanis doesn't understand that a current account deficit is a financial account surplus, meaning you can purchase foreign assets. GILTS have nothing to do with interest rates; both are dictated by the bank of england (interest rates) and the Treasury (GILT yields); they can be whatever the Govt wants them to be (within reason, and BOE is also Govt appendage since it was nationalised). I marked the video down, not because the Tories have the slightest clue of what they're doing, but because these opinions are asinine.
