National statistics offices in Germany, France, USA and UK all say the same thing. Google the term: "The FRED Blog Has the pandemic boosted labor productivity?" Here's an excerpt: "Labor productivity is output per hour worked. For most of 2020, overall output declined, but overall hours worked declined even more. Because the reduction in hours worked was larger than the reduction in overall economic activity, *labor productivity increased*". Executives are fine with taking the aggregate productivity drop because execs are workaholics, and don't want to be largely alone in the office. They just can't stand being around their families, and then gaslight the workers into coming to the office (talk of "company culture", which doesn't exist; they're just people doing a job). More hours does NOT mean higher productivity necessarily, it is not linear
