  1. Joe talking about evolution was eye rolling. He doesn't know that natural selection is destructive/entropic; it doesn't create, it whittles away the genome by killing the less competitive through competition. He doesn't know that bringing up other biped hominids is irrelevant, since it's not an instance of speciation. Those earlier hominids are us, and we MICRO-evolved (no speciation).
