  1. the half-life of Uranium-235 is 7 million years, and we need to spend energy produced tomorrow to 7m years away to manage nuclear waste (which essentially will never be fit for land fill). At least with coal you build a chimney stack and let mother nature take care of it, and has done for 150 years and counting; which we can't do with nuclear waste
