  1. Except they can flex their income (by raising tax) and reduce their outgoings (by reducing or freezing Govt expenditure) in a way that you (or pretty much anyone else) just can’t. A right wing billionaire (say) Donald Trump (if he even is a billionaire) wants the debt reduced - but they’re only in it for the tax breaks…..
