  1. Of course this is the way things work. How could the US (or any other Country) work if you changed the machinery of Govt every 4 to 8 years, no organisation can survive if it was run like that. The current system is not some grand conspiracy, it’s just pragmatism - and it’s what’s kept the US at the top of the tree these last 125 years or so. Voters should be careful what they wish for - voting in thin skinned egotistical populists……
