When I think how I've had to struggle day in day out to get by and keep the wolf from the door, it makes my blood boil. But having said that, I'm not convinced anything can be done that has not already been tried. We are bound to take all these people in and the character of the country will continue to change. I shan't be around to see it.

Perhaps the London knife crime gangs could be deployed all along the French coast to deploy their weapons against inflatable boats so that none shall leave France's shores for ours. It's better than killing people in our own country.
