  2. +gnihton Amazing. Not even a speck of self-awareness. Nations of people are being denied their own history, yet giving them access to it is the threat in your eyes. If it's pointless, then isn't ownership of these objects also pointless? It it belongs to one country because their ancestors stole it, doesn't that give them the right to return the object to where it was made, if they so choose? Remember nobody is being forced to hand the objects over. If my country returns what it looted to another nation, that's because we decided to do that, and you don't get to tell us otherwise.

  5. The fast answer is that you need to put a lot more effort into what is (for me) an effortless exercise. Your lack of empathy and humanity make this harder for you. Even when you grudgingly accept that nations may do this, you refuse to call it "good". At best, neutral. Unless the museums aren't as nice in other countries, in which case it's bad. Protecting history in your eyes is restricting who may partake in it. You're a gatekeeper. In context what you're saying is "its great when white people have all the artefacts, I guess its ok if we let africans and asians have their stuff back sometimes"
