'natural deaths' You don't think it's a little bit suspicious that thousands upon thousands of fit, healthy workers are dying in their 20's and 30's? Incidentally, kidney disease is spiking in Nepal, where many of those workers come from (and return to). So not only has Qatar killed thousands of 6500 workers, the true figure is probably much higher.

@AS-bm5xv "Selective skepticsm" This is quite simply a lie, and I'm not engaging with it. In regards to the 15000 and 6500 numbers, the former is the offical death toll for migrants, and the latter is the same but for 5 specific south asian countries. (The kinds of country that export a lot of working-class labour). Oh, and almost all of them are in fact workers. Qatar has very strict requirements about this. Either you marry a Qatari and get a residence permit, or you spend 20 years living there first. You do need to be working to be there, in almost all cases. This means you're typically not retiring in Qatar. "By no means are the migrants in Qatar living a good life. There is not one country where migrants live a good life." None of the migrants I personally know say that life is easy, but they're not complaining about literal slavery either. "The misinformation campaign is a powerplay from the west to punish Qatar for not obeying them over the Russian energy crisis." We've been reading these reports for years, it predates the Russian crisis. You're hearing about it more now because of a little event called the World Cup.

" done their research and would've taken advice from the best economic experts around the world." I'd like to point out that every single nation which has done this has experienced a severe economic crash within a generation
