The narrator is doing an incredible job, tell him we said so!

The animation combined with the 3D models and real photographs is exceptional, this deserves to be a huge channel. I work in electronics production and even I didn't know some of this! I gotta say though, making these things is way, WAY easier than fixing them. I've seen some uh, interesting PCB designs too :P

It looks like the images are made of photographs, with the 3D parts painstakingly modeled by hand Unless he has a 3D scanner lol

Here's to galvanised nails and cardboard females!

Look into "Z-Fighting", basically this is handled at the rendering engine level (And if not, you get flickering polygons!)

Actually that doesn't logically follow - it's entirely possible that a proofread was done and this error was simply missed. The definition of 'proofread' doesn't necessarily mean that 100% of all errors are caught, only that the process is followed to the end. You're going to come into a channel popular with engineers to critique, you had better come prepared ;)

Ā @BranchEducationĀ Honestly at my place we don't even get involved with trace repair, its components only and even then there's so much that can go wrong with board population!

Two games came out in 2011 Minecraft and Skyrim š

I'm not sure it's 'worth it' exactly - we replaced beautiful, well designed graphics with forgettable high-fidelity slop. There's little artistic innovation coming from the biggest companies nowadays - although I will concede that shaders are very good now.

Ā @higorssĀ That's like saying the only factor in bricklaying is the quantity of bricks. Fundamentally incorrect.

Ā @higorssĀ Why are GPU's marketed with images then? You don't have an answer. You don't even believe what you're writing lmao
1
Ā @higorssĀ Ok I apologise - we misunderstood each other. I am referring to how computer graphics look, not the physical cards I agree that function is more important than form in regard to the card itself

Laptops normally have smaller GPU's, or GPU's that are integrated into the motherboard For this reason, laptops aren't at the cutting edge of what is commerically available

But this is industry standard, isn't it? They're all doing this and they don't all have thermal issues.
