  1. But Bennyboy Hoobastank IS British and got criticised for saying it in America, and as somebody from the UK that's how I learned it was actually offensive. Before that I honestly thought that was the polite way to refer to people of colour :( Idk British English is weird and not all dialects keep pace with the times
