  1. I agree that both losers and winners have a warped sense of reality for different reasons. That said, pessimism is definitely more harmful than optimism. I think Louis has done a good job of keeping it real even after succeeding, I don't get the impression that he looks down on those who are less fortunate as being "victims" or anything. I understand that "luck" is a big factor and not all work is rewarded, but we all have to give it our best shot. At the very least, if we get to the point where we don't try to hold our own peers back, society will be better.

  3. The seemingly spiteful withdrawal of basic features like copy and paste, or file transfer is bordering on creepy. You have to ask yourself, what conversation between engineers at apple lead to that happening? Did they honestly and truly believe nobody needed those things? Did they think Apple consumers didn't know how to work them? I legit believe they were just pushing boundries, seeing what they could get away with. I think luddism is alive and well, and Apple are at the forefront of the movement. I seriously believe they want people to be able to do less, not more.
