The descent started with silencing people critiquing their implementation of a code of conduct.

Employment, not job. Job gets work done. Employment sacks resources.

NoHugsBSD had a CoC early.
10
Modeling their company on decisions one can not get behind in good conscience, Mozilla thinks Firefox has market-share among people not making conscious choices.

That is a quality comment X)

"We need more than deplatforming" was their wish.

Presumably the forum was picked as suitable seeing as everyone saying "Shaman" on there had previously been banned. Guessing said Shaman isn't the person on the way out.

Not at all. Finns take pride in defending their homeland.

Given their track-record on security, they outsource that part by default.

For supposedly being so gay, it sure is straight satire.

In any event the damage has been done.
7
A lot of those views have to be people trying to click away, bots running automated downloads, and the people in charge of it checking whether the stream works.
7
His contributions are immense, his egressions are, a sketch.

Appears amicable is the new considered harmful

@manitoba-op4jx You don't keep anyone out that isn't actively trying to be social-police, and the ones that do for the most part glow in the dark.
5
Mozilla, when you have to check whether the video is new or not.

The founder drafted some idiocy and then decided against it. Sounds good. All the rest amounts to private musings about desktop Linux by someone who happens to develop a distro. Not using proprietary software Twitter is a good thing, as you will have to agree. 8:50 "It seems from his posts that anyone centrist is a far right extremist, as far as Dan Fore is concerned", is something you crafted. 13:17 Here you claim the founder is "extraordinarily exclusionary" and then "they say other people are not welcome, if you are conservative, you are not welcome to be part of whatever elementary is". Where is the evidence of this? There is nothing done here that isn't in the realm of what is at most irrelevant mental illness to creating a distro, and more importantly none of it is in the distro. So why Lunduke, are you trying to frame elementary OS for something that is private opinion? Your espoused beliefs don't align.

A person is allowed to speak many times if the board agrees with what the person says. If a person speaks any times to challenge more power for the board those are all too many.
4
Chrome getting sold and FF revenue halting sounds like a win-win.

"Integrating DEI values into business strategies and driving values" (into the ground).

I think they will be down to three letters, distancing the "O" from "ME" very soon..
4
@Rob-gj4hz It is a subtle joke.
3
Good video. Did you mention the CIA gave the lead of Pokemon Go an award?
3
@alphago9397 You have to imagine he meant removing useful people is not the actual lead, whereas being useful is.

@Jalae Only as a trademark. As language it is not. In other languages there is no trademark even.
2
Luckily diversity is our strength, and all their DEI programs will pay off real soon.
2
Ask what Mozilla could do without other peoples money and the fact-sheet says emulate Google without being good at that either.
2
That is just the resulting chaos. it is already set in motion enough to hurt itself. It is when these provisions are made the wokeness is expanding.
2
Gamifying a game-engine to implement a political ideology as popular and sustainable elsewhere?
2
The only thing DEI does is align itself as a parasite under a supporting structure that increasingly gets more maligned to keep up.
2
"Anyone who faces discrimination in the technology industry of their country is invited to apply" means the section of text discriminating against groups of people is void, but only in its jurisdiction. Somehow still discrimination, but not the one they had in mind.
2
From the company that couldn't bring you Persona when they had a clue, introducing "Preserve privacy and attribution".
2
Guarding against self-sabotage is the way forth.
2
Woah, what is this outdated construction of "develop software"…!?
2
In summary, the Lunduke owns the media, the Lunduke controls the media.
2
I'd argue GNOME is actually great at creating business, over at Lunduke HQ.
2
Observation: Not unbanning everyone that had an account a few days ago is an admission of thinking a mass purge so great that Godot can't (or are unwilling to) undo manually is warranted.
2
Observation: It isn't "Dear GNOME community", it is "Dear GNOME community members"…
2
Are you suggesting Mozilla should fear the future of Firefox isn't carried by the small amount of funds left over when they have siphoned off the majority of donations to the foundation for other things?
2
Don't ever let them enjoy their old reputation.
2
You can allow politics, but not allow people interested in anti-meritocracy to govern.
2
@calholli Someone has to do the work.
2
35:04 this isn't true.
2
@kaisersoymilk6912 Grabbing money is distinctly different from figuring out how to make it.

Terry was right

@Cybergazer-n9o That is, false.
