  17.  @eddiebarrera469  for a simplistic comparison: table salt is sodium chloride. we use it every day. but.. each of the elements on their own are quite a bit more deadly. chlorine is the main component of mustard gas from ww1, designed to destroy lung tissue. sodium is actually a metal that reacts explosively with just ordinary water. swallow a lump of pure sodium, and you might as well have swallowed a lit cherry bomb. it would eat through your stomach and cook your insides and then release enough hydrogen to explode. mercury is the opposite. as a pure metal is actually is very UNreactive. it only becomes a problem when it is part of a larger compound that allows it to react with other molecules.

I was not a resident, had no insurance, nada. grand total cost: 11,000. in the US? that would have easily been 120,000. why the price difference? no competition, no middlemen. conclusion? capitalism is a huge failure for ANYTHING that should be a basic need for people. also? new prescriptions here are 10 bucks. refills are free. appointments with your GP once you are resident are 10-20 bucks, max. americans who think socialism is evil are brainwashed morons.
