I would say that the people who actually built it could have had no idea that global warming would cause the seas to rise high enough in 60 years to cause it to be wiped out. so yes, they would have indeed been "surprised".

  37. It is both within the rules of baseball to block a plate to try to prevent access, AND to knock the sh*t out of anybody that is in the direct path of you as the runner. perfectly clean. If you are going to block the plate, you best present your least damageable side to the runner who is going to try and knock you clear.
