I have seen it there, and I have seen it here. conservatives have been funding anti democracy movements in NZ for at least a decade. It became REALLY obvious during the Covid lockdowns.

  21.  @RobtPtak  I lived in CA for 45 years. by far and away the state with the most opportunity for jobs, best pay, best educational system (UC, State Unis, City Colleges), and the best scenery. you can wake up in the morning and go surfing, then drive up to the mountains and ski in the afternoon. Redwood forests, Yosemite, big rivers... you name it. Plus, it literally is the single largest agricultural area west of the rockies. it has it all. it wasn't california that convinced me to leave the US, it was california NOT LEAVING THE US, that convinced me to go. California was once the Bear Republic (it's on the flag). It would be FAR better off going back to that and ditching the horror show that the rest of the US is becoming. you have NOTHING to offer.
