"Eventually we'll pee it out.. hopefully into the toilet." this sounds like a man speaking from plenty of experience of other ways. Like... he could tell many stories.

@No-cg9kj "nicotine alone really isn't all that addictive, that's a myth." no, it isn't. it's a central nervous system stimulant, just like cocaine. you going to try and tell me cocaine isn't addictive? LOL.

@williamhenson2929 'No one knows" speak for yourself. there already is plenty of research out there. so far, the only problems that have been found is that it is the OILS in vape mixes that cause problems. that's why vit e was causing problems; the oils cause tiny oil droplets to irritate your alveoli, and can produce the "pneumonia" like symptoms we were seeing. same with cbd. since THC is lipophilic, oils are usually used as a solvent for it. not a problem when smoking it, as the oils combust before they can enter your lungs. IS a problem when you vape though, since the oils are not oxidized and create those droplets in your lungs. same thing with Vit E, which also is lipophilic. also make sure to avoid any vape mix that contain "essential oils" as those are completely unregulated and not only do you have problems with the oil solvents, some of them can cause extreme toxic reactions. so bottom line: focus on WATER based solutions with NO OILS in them. glycols can be used as a solvent for THC instead of oils.

Note: it's VERY unlikely that the few injections of opiods you get while being treated at a hospital will cause you to become addicted. the thing to be careful with is take home prescription opiods. the dosages have been carefully adjusted to minimize the risks, but there is considerable genetic variation amongst humans wrt to opiod tolerance and addiction. If you find you feel the need for stronger or repeat prescriptions beyond what your doctor recommended... tell your doctor immediately, BEFORE it becomes a serious problem.

@ebogar42 "It's just nicotine and then the shit they use to mix it" it's what they use to mix with that IS the problem. especially if the mix includes oils as ingredients.

@eddietruong it's the OIL that causes a problem when vaping, as you get tiny oil droplets in your lungs that cause a reaction and block your alveoli. if you use entirely water/glycol based mixes, there aren't any noticeable short term issues. especially avoid any mix that claims to contain "essential oils" as not only do those have oil, but many essential oils can cause reactions in and of themselves, and the entire industry is poorly regulated.

it's NOT THC that is the problem, it's that, like vit E, it usually comes added to vape ingredients as an OIL base. it's just the tiny oil droplets that cause the problem. that's it. when you smoke something with those oils in it instead, the oils are ignited BEFORE the smoke goes into your lungs, thus you don't get any problems with oil droplets. so in this case you have no immediate respiratory reaction if you SMOKE it instead of VAPE it. so don't vape your cannabis oil, and don't use vit E in your mix, and make sure there are NO essential oils or any kind of oils in your mix, and you'll be OK.
