Key is on record saying that NZ should have followed the lead of the US on covid and opened the country up. really. so actually... this current vote very much proved who would have won, because people have said over and over again that they were not in favor of politicians taking aim at how well we did controlling the virus. Moreover, some of us actually read the economic prospectus of the various plans of dealing with the virus, and the plan we went with, total lockdown, gave us the BEST chance of quickly recovering. and guess what? it worked, and is working. oh, and also? when Winston Peters decided to attack how well we did controlling the virus? that was his death knell as well. NZ First is done as a party.
