  1. Jonathan Wells was a grad student in Molecular and Cell Biology when I was a grad student in Zoology at Berkeley (late 1980s, early 90s). Had lunch with him several times. He tried to give me the impression he was just a confused grad student, trying to reconcile his faith with his work. Nothing could be further from the truth. His entry into MCB was directly funded by Reverend Sun Myung Moon. Yup, before he was a schill for the discotute, he was a moonie. People like this are literally programmed from an early age NOT to tell the truth. They literally CANNOT be honest with you if you ask them pointed questions. It's sad and pathetic. There were MANY heated arguments between MCB and the other biological sciences about them letting him even BE a student there. Sad to say, money talks, all the rest walks. MCB was happy to take moonie money.

  4. There is zero evidence Ukraine was involved. There are however now interviews with crew indicating catastrophic engine failure, with an engine rod exploding outwards and piercing the hull. Poor maintenance and safety practices would both account for this, and the subsequent failure to isolate the flooding.

  6. another thing to consider is whether you can easily REMOVE the drywall anchor itself. the standard toggle bolt anchors are very easy to remove (you just unscrew, and the clip falls behind the wall), and then you are left to fill the initial drill hole only, which is also quite easy. toggles that use the screw fastener to warp the toggle to create friction are IMPOSSIBLE to remove cleanly, and you end up creating a MUCH larger hole, or else you have to drill them out instead, which is a PITA.
