  5. The reason everybody is basically in a self-congratulatory circle jerk it's because this is how the cops get paid. This is basically their argument for why they need pay raises. So the more the public sees the in these type of pressers, the easier it is for the city council to request budget increases. And it's easier for the district attorneys to run for office and the lieutenants run for sheriff or get promoted to Chief. I used to be so puzzled by absurdly salt congratulatory nature of it. But then I did some research... If it took them 6 months, they would still do the same thing... This is why I hate prosecutors. It's all a game to them. At least defense attorneys have allegiance to their clients and the Bill of Rights... But alas..

Or $400 concert tickets? So now Grady Judd can point and say look they needed that weed so badly that they were prepared to kill for it. On the other hand, if you are killing somebody over $400 worth of merchandise: there's no way the motive for the murder can be the merchandise itself! The merchandise could be a perk but not the underlying reason why that person had to die. But then someone can report and say yeah the people have killed each other over 50 bucks in human history. And then you would respond by saying: yeah it was probably due to the disrespect and the social milieu that they are living in rather than retrieving funds. Because for young kids they need to murder somebody in order to be gang initiated. Being in a gang is probably a fair trade off for spending the rest of your life in jail...
