  2. They literally just are a megaphone for the defendant. The same way when you for a elected official, what the elected official personally believes is irrelevant as long as he represents the interests of his constituents. It's basically like because lay people aren't good at making arguments + they don't know the law, they can't go up against professional prosecutors. Therefore the defense attorney translates intimate conversations (i.e. privileged conversation) into cogent and legally sound arguments.

They just need to get convictions on the books so they can run for office later. Also they're very susceptible to political trials (i.e., Kyle Rittenhouse) 👆🏾 If Kyle Rittenhouse couldn't hire an expensive defense firm he would literally be in prison right now serving LIFE. ⭐ It's one thing to keep people out of prison as a job. It's another thing whereas a job your literal job is to literally not give anybody the benefit of the doubt and literally take away everyone's liberty. You get a case and your boss tells you to prosecute it. The US Constitution is actually in the way of your career advancement. Look what's happening to Karen Reed in Boston or what happened to Megan Immirowitz or Scot Peterson in Florida.. And don't even get me started with all the Soros funded prosecutors... Prosecutors are a necessary evil but they're also the founding fathers in the Bill of Rights warranty about when they say government shall not infringe. Prosecutors don't want you to have a fifth or sixth amendment right. They want you to come in for and just plead out even if you're innocent.. Why do prosecutors have a 90 percent plea rate? All those people can't all be guilty... They do things like adroitly stack charges to intimidate people into just taking a deal...
