If you think prosecutors give a damn about Truth and Justice, you're very naive. They care about winning over everything. A criminal defense attorneys job is to look out solely for his client. A prosecutor is loyalty should NEVER EVER be to the victims family. It should be to TRUTH + JUSTICE + THE LAW. If turning over Discovery means that your victim family may not get ‘Justice’ you follow the Law and you don't commit a Brady violation even if it's going to make your prosecution harder.... To be a prosecutor you have to be like the cleanest person and the most ethical person.
