The network gets a viral sound bite of them cat fighting, and neither candidates gets enough time to actually articulate their platform. Because the segment would be 8 minutes regardless. Do you know who wins when they don't debate each other? The candidates. The candidates get to explain their platform unaccosted. They are not under duress trying to retort in 40 seconds on an issue that took 70 years to create. They are not constantly trying to one up somebody or hit somebody with a “gotcha" They did not take the bait and instead took the free advertising on a major burgeoning network. Outclassed. Lol
