Either intellectuals are those that hold phds called professors and instruct students at the undergraduate and graduate level and write books and published papers in academic peer reviewed journals.. etc.. etc..(//) Or they Ain't!.. 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️ I'm so sick and tired of people choosing picking and choosing which professors are pseudo-intellectuals in which ones are not. A woman studies professor still studies an area of sociology--» hyper focusing on women. However to get to that point, the point to where they can write a dissertation on whatever it is they're talking about. They need to have understood economics, politics, religion, psychology, philosophy, history, government, and relevant aspects of literary analysis. And the same applies for anthropology dissertation or a philosophy dissertation. Or a gender studies or a critical theory. What do you think what they're studying is garbage is irrelevant to the fact that they have achieved **expertise**in that narrow area--under the sponsorship of an established professor within that department. The problem is that the entire Academy has been poisoned from The Roots to the Branches by political fascist ideology and this ideology has no rear view mirror 🪞
