  2. I wouldn't rely on the same-sex studies because you're now introducing millions of variables that are just going to muddy your findings. Like your whole approach is flawed. You're trying to use same-sex relationships to draw conclusions about heterosexual relationships. Lesbian relationships could be more violent for any number of reasons. It could be because of stressors about being a pariah in the community. It could be about all kinds of things. It could be because now suspicions of cheating become larger because now there could be INCREASED paranoia-- b/c now that you're a lesbian partner is talking to her galpals--> but each one of those gal-pals friends are potential mates now. Suppose she's hanging out with guys well how honest has she been about being completely 1000% lesbain-only vs non-indentifying etc... ☝🏾 My point is that there's just soooo much more room for drama and bitter acrimony. How to say be careful stacking inferences and then drawing conclusions about issues not mentioned in your predicate.. Like observations are fine as you get into trouble when you then go “...THEREFORE..! WE CAN CONCLUDE....”
